The Parochial Church Council (or PCC) is the Committee of a Church of England Parish Church responsible for running the church’s affairs. The PCC members are the clergy and churchwardens, together with representatives of the congregation.

The current PCC at St Thomas’ is made up of clergy, two churchwardens and members of the congregation.   Anyone who is on the official list of congregation (called the parish roll) can put themselves forward to be elected onto the PCC. It meets every other month to discuss church business. The PCC also delegates some powers to Committees which undertaken work on its behalf. For more information, please contact St Thomas’ Church.
